We collaborated with AbbVie to create the AbbVie Discovery Series, a set of short documentaries highlighting the critical role of medical research in developing groundbreaking treatments that transform lives. The series represents an innovative approach to storytelling in the pharmaceutical industry, an industry that rarely uses documentary production to tell its stories.

Each episode of the Discovery Series employed a distinct creative approach to communicate complex medical topics in an engaging and relatable way. From powerful biography-style films for Hepatitis C, to superhero comic book illustrations for Blood Cancer, and the impact of social media culture for Psoriasis, the series demonstrated how visual storytelling can make scientific research accessible and inspiring.

The series’ success was recognised when episode 2, In Our Sights, was selected for the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, demonstrating the reach and impact of creative, medically-focused content.
