Sport is a powerful metaphor for life – and for Nurofen Zavance Liquid Capsules, it perfectly illustrates fast, effective pain relief. From a cricketer hitting the winning run to an Aussie Rules forward booting a decisive goal, our campaign demonstrated the power and effectiveness of Nurofen Zavance in action-packed, real-world scenarios.

Engaged by Momentum, we developed the first locally-produced Nurofen Zavance campaign, capturing suburban sports teams in all their intensity, speed, and excitement – even braving temperamental weather to get the perfect shots.

Our post-production team pushed creative boundaries, transforming the iconic Nurofen liquid explosion brand asset into vivid 3D animations, bringing the cricket ball and other sports elements to life in a dynamic and visually engaging way.

Cricket

In order to bring the excitement of cricket to life, we cast from a range of Sydney-based sports clubs to ensure authenticity of form. A visual effects supervisor was also present during the shoot day to collect lighting references to ensure the 3D liquid burst asset would be integrated as realistically as possible.

AFL

The second spot sought to bring the action of Australian Rules to vivid life but was plagued with cantankerous weather and thunderstorms. Our nimble production team was able to remain agile and meet this challenge head-on.

Stills

Key moments of the hero sportsmen in action as well as the teams celebrating were captured and used for out-of-home, point of sale and outdoor collateral.

Social

Along with a plethora of re-sized edits for social channels, a second production team was on hand during the shoot days to capture bite-sized, social content of our talent performing various competitive challenges. These edits were then seeded out across Nurofen’s various social channels as auxiliary content to the main campaign.
