“So, we want to take Antonio Cerqueira, the founder of Oporto, on a journey back to Portugal, where he is looking for recipe ideas but has also decided to make his own ads,” explained the team at Brand + Story when describing their creative concept. “We just need a local crew, some beautiful locations, a van… and a donkey.”

The first 30-second TV spot for the Oporto Portugal campaign premiered during the debut episode of Love Island, immediately capturing audience attention. Over the following six weeks, a series of 15-second TV spots rolled out, telling a sequential story that followed founder Antonio Cerqueira on his culinary journey through Portugal.

We jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with Brand + Story, providing full production and post-production support for a campaign designed to engage viewers across TV and digital platforms.
