The ‘Home of Homes’ campaign from realestate.com.au follows Australian actor Rodger Corser as he walks through various Australian homes exploring the question ‘What makes a home a home?’ Whether it’s a place where people belong, connect or where they can be their best selves – the campaign highlights the connections Australians have to their homes.

Despite the campaign’s success, we encountered our fair share of production challenges. Three days across four locations with 29 crew, 41 talent… and one bout of wild Sydney weather. As we were ready to roll on the pool scene we were hit with pouring rain, resulting in us squeezing in a reshoot into an already packed three day schedule. Calling all talent back, recasting for unavailable talent, organising the location hire again… It’s all in a day’s work!
VFX
An existing building in an otherwise perfect pool scene was comped out using some crafty VFX work, ensuring a pristine backdrop for Corser’s exploration. Additionally, the team adeptly manipulated house numbers, seamlessly blending alterations with the original aesthetic.
